This is a start-up biogas company seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and sustainability goals.Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.Manage relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions.Lead and execute MandA activities involving biogas plants to drive strategic growth.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.Provide strategic financial insights to the executive team to inform decision-making.Develop and maintain internal control policies and procedures.Monitor and analyse financial performance metrics.Lead financial audits and manage relationships with external auditors.Oversee the company’s capital structure and financing strategies.Develop and implement risk management strategies.Collaborate with other departments to optimise operational efficiency.Provide financial training and mentorship to finance team members.Lead initiatives to improve financial processes and systems.Coordinate with external consultants and advisors on financial projects.Essential Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the renewable energy sector.Strong understanding of corporate finance, financial planning, and risk management.Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and leadership abilities.A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA are highly desirable.Prior experience working for a biogas company would be highly advantageous.Experience in a startup environment is advantageous, as it requires a hands-on approach, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving setting.Employment Details
