At Rutherford Briant, we are supporting a well-established organisation in Suffolk seeking an experienced Interim Finance Manager to provide critical support across reporting cycles, financial control, and year-end activity. This 15-month fixed term contract is ideal for a technically strong finance professional who can step into a fast-paced environment, bring structure to the finance function, and partner closely with the Group Financial Controller. As an Interim Finance Manager, you will: Lead day-to-day financial management and reporting in collaboration with the Group Financial Controller.Oversee cash controls, ensuring strong governance and effective oversight of the organisation''s financial position.Take ownership of balance sheet reconciliations, driving accuracy and resolving variances in a timely manner.Support the delivery of year-end processes, ensuring financial records are complete, well-documented, and audit ready.Assist with group consolidations where required, ensuring consistency and technical accuracy.Act as a key contact during the external audit, preparing schedules and responding to queries efficiently.Maintain high technical standards across the finance function, with a strong focus on double-entry principles.Identify opportunities to enhance processes, strengthen controls, and improve reporting quality.
