Role Overview

• Provide 1:1 support to a primary-aged child with specific learning needs.
• Implement and contribute to Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
• Promote confidence and independence within the classroom.
• Assist during lessons, breaks and personal care as necessary.
• Work closely with class teachers and SENCO to monitor progress.

Essential Skills

• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification (or equivalent experience).
• Prior experience supporting pupils with SEND.
• Excellent resilience, patience and empathy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain).
