Location: West Wales / Hybrid Remote

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading engineering business during a period of continued growth as they support the Oil and Gas, Petrochemical and Renewable Energy sectors. Our client can accomodate 1 week working in West Wales / 1 week working remotely. This role is deemed outside IR35.

Role and Responsibilities

Responsible for developing feasibility studies and FEED deliverables for downstream projects.

Develop the scope of work / basis of design for studies and projects.

Development and checking of process calculations.

Preparation and checking of process deliverables - PFDs, PandIDs, datasheets, specifications, process descriptions, philosophies and narratives.

Supporting safety related calculations reviews - What If, Hazop SIL Assessment, etc.

Utilise process simulation software as required for the development of process deliverables.

Attend in-house and site-based meetings / reviews with clients.

Undertake short and long-term business travel in support of studies, projects and consultancy.

Key Skills and Knowledge

Degree in Chemical Engineering essential, chartered status desired but not essential.

Must have experience developing feasibility studies and FEED deliverables for downstream projects.

Previously worked on design projects in the Oil and Gas, Petrochem, or Renewable Energy industries.

Experience in relevant design standards and protocols.

Previous site experience in conjunction with a design background beneficial.
