Test Engineer
Our client is seeking a skilled and collaborative Electronics Test Engineer to join their growing, inclusive team in Chertsey. In this hands-on role, you''ll work closely with their engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver high-quality products and systems to the Defence Industry. This position is ideal for an experienced Electronics Technician with strong production inspection, testing and fault-finding capabilities. You''ll be joining at a crucial time, supporting a high-profile project where attention to detail, communication and effective time management are essential. Key Responsibilities Maintain a safe, clean and organised assembly area, ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are met. Deliver high-quality work within project deadlines. Accurately record defects and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Perform IPC-level inspections of electronic assemblies during production. Follow formal test documentation and accurately record results, including hardware, software and firmware configurations. Use standard test equipment to take and interpret measurements. Provide feedback on test documentation discrepancies. Confidently use internal systems to log results and maintain clear, up-to-date records. About You Able to obtain UK Security Clearance. Minimum 5 years'' experience in a technical production role. Strong background in manufacturing, assembly, repair, or modification of electronic components or systems.
