Job Title: Experienced Recycling Operative Scrap Metal (with Machine Maintenance Experience) Location: Shepshed, LE12 Pay Rate: £14 £15.00 per hour DOE Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Start Date: Immediate start available Hours of Work Monday to Friday, 7:00am 5:00pm (1-hour unpaid break) Full-time, 5 days per week consistent, ongoing work About the Role We re currently recruiting an experienced Recycling Operative to join a well-established scrap metal merchant in Shepshed. This role is hands-on and varied you will be sorting and processing scrap metal, plastics, and other recyclable materials, as well as operating and maintaining machinery. You will need to be confident in stopping machines safely, clearing blockages, resetting settings, and ensuring smooth operation. The environment is busy, dusty, and noisy, so previous experience in a similar setting especially in metal recycling is highly preferred.
