We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Technician to join a well-established engineering organisation. This is a hands-on role supporting the testing, repair, and commissioning of a broad range of electrical products, both in-house and on customer sites. Working closely with the engineering and operations teams, you will play a key role in ensuring products meet required quality, safety, and performance standards.Key Responsibilities Assist with fault finding, diagnostics, and repair of electrical equipmentSupport on-site testing and commissioning activities when requiredCarry out in-house testing of power distribution, marshalling enclosures, and control panelsTest and inspect LV cabinets and associated control devicesSupport protection modifications and electrical upgradesEnsure all work is completed in line with current electrical regulations and Health and Safety standardsAccurately complete test documentation and reports Knowledge and Experience Minimum of 3 5 years experience within an electrical engineering environmentExperience supporting testing and commissioning activities, ideally including transformersRelevant electrical qualificationsAbility to read and interpret electrical schematic drawingsSound understanding of electrical regulations and safe working practicesStrong attention to detail with a methodical and organised approachGood written and verbal communication skillsFlexible and team-oriented, with the ability to support other departments ..... full job details .....
