Role: Senior Residential Support Worker / Team Lead Purpose: To lead the delivery of a safe, nurturing environment for children and young people. As a Senior, you provide high-level personalised care while overseeing shift operations and ensuring regulatory compliance within a 24/7 service. Leadership and Advanced Responsibilities Shift Management: Lead and manage shifts to maintain high-quality service delivery, acting as the senior point of authority in the absence of the Registered Manager. Staff Oversight: Provide operational line management, guidance, and direction to less experienced staff members. Case Leadership: Lead the development of care plans, conduct risk assessments, and manage complex case reviews. Multi-Agency Liaison: Coordinate with families and external agencies, analysing data to produce professional reports for court and statutory reviews. Professional Standards: Lead by example in the application of Action for Children''s policies, diversity initiatives, and professional practice standards. Core Operational Tasks Direct Care: Oversee personal care, medication administration, and clinical procedures. Mentorship: Support young people in developing independence through routine household tasks and stimulated activities. Advocacy: Ensure the participation of children and young people in decisions affecting their lives.
