Lead Project Manager role at Leonardo.Your Impact

A Lead Project Manager is required for the EW Payloads Business Area to provide project management oversight for a group of delivery projects aligned to a key export geography working with our exciting Brite Storm Product. This will involve providing mentorship and dotted line management to other PMs within the delivery portfolio, direct management of several high profile, complex and interdependent projects/contracts and alignment of customer delivery schedules to manufacturing output. Strong internal and external customer facing skills will be required. The role will cover all aspects of Project Management including Bid work, Contract Status Reviews, Risk Management, Lifecycle Management and Financial Management. The project Manager will be responsible for Project execution and delivery, with particular emphasis on achieving Customer commitments cross project and product alignment, dependency management, business winning, contract capture and decision making for the benefit of the EW Payloads Business Area and Surveillance and Protection Technologies (SandPT) Sector.What You''ll Bring

Experienced Project Manager displayed throughout career, ideally within defence or another engineering/technical businessLeadership on fast paced, high value programmesAbility to manage both internal and external stakeholders at a high levelProject management experience managing engineering development contracts, bids, supply chain and customersWillingness/ability to travel overseasAPM or relevant Project Management qualification beneficial but not essentialSecurity Clearance
