Engineering Manager - Bard Pharmaceuticals, Cambridge

Salary: Up to -65,000 + Car Allowance

Hours: Mon-Fri, 08:00-17:00 (flexible)

Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

Our client is hiring a hands-on, commercially savvy Engineering Manager to lead a team of 12 engineers and a maintenance planner at a fast-paced pharmaceutical site. You''ll oversee critical systems, drive performance, and ensure compliance in a high-pressure environment.

• Lead and manage engineering operations and team performance

• Ensure safe, compliant maintenance across mechanical and electrical systems

• Build strong client relationships and manage contractors

• Support budgeting, reporting, and continuous improvement

• ONC/BTEC or apprenticeship in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering

• Proven leadership in critical environments

• Strong technical and commercial acumen

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

Pharma experience preferred. Occasional weekend work may apply. Candidates should ideally be available within one month.
