Warehouse Operative - Temp to Perm Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced logistics operation. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for long-term work with the potential to secure a permanent position.

Pay Rate:

• -14.94 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and unloading incoming freight from containers and vehicles
• Picking and packing orders, ensuring goods are prepared securely for dispatch
• Checking deliveries for damages and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Organising stock within the warehouse, ensuring safe storage and efficient use of space
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment in line with health and safety standards
• Completing relevant documentation and using scanners to track goods

Requirements:

• Good level of physical fitness and ability to lift and move heavy items
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Effective communication skills
• Basic IT literacy, including experience using handheld scanners (preferred)
• Forklift truck licence (Reach or Counterbalance) is advantageous but not essential

Shift Pattern:

• 4 on / 4 off rotating shift pattern
• Days: 06:00 - 18:00
• Nights: 18:00 - 06:00
