If so, we are looking for a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist primary setting full time, on a temporary basis, starting immediately.Job spec and Description: You will support children aged 5 to 11 years who have profound Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, many of whom also have communication and interaction needs.You will work alongside highly experienced professionals delivering individualised support in line with EHCP outcomes.Your role will involve helping with emotional regulation, supporting engagement with learning, helping in both academic (English, Maths) and non-academic (social skills, communication) areas.The environment is small (max 8 pupils), offering a nurturing setting, with a high level of adult support and specialist interventions.
