Job Summary

As a practice nurse at Haven Health, you will play a vital role in delivering primary care services to our diverse patient population. You will work autonomously while being fully supported by a well-established team. The practice prioritises their patients care but adopts a fun supportive environment, everyone who works at Haven Health enjoys the atmosphere of working together. We value flexibility, and whilst we''re looking for 20-25 hours per week, we ask for some adaptability to allow for training, holiday cover, and occasional other colleague absences.

Main duties of the job

Chronic disease management, particularly respiratoryChildhood and adult immunisationsWound care and dressingsHealth promotion and patient educationCervical cytology screeningProvide general and specific health assessment and screening to the practice population, with referral to general practitioners as necessary.Advise patients on general health and minor ailments with referral to general practitioners as necessaryProvide nursing treatments to patients in participation with general practitioners or independently to agreed protocols.Implement a systematic approach to care, to include efficient and accurate record keeping for the benefit and safety of patients/clients, continuity of care and professional security.Assist with the development of work practices within agreed policies to provide the optimum standards of care.
