We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded SEN school in Maidstone that caters to students aged 4andndash;16 with a range of complex needs. The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where pupils are supported to thrive both academically and emotionally.

The Role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Work closely with teachers and therapists to support students on a 1:1 and small group basis.
• Help manage behaviour using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies.
• Support pupils with their emotional regulation and social development.
• Assist with personalised learning plans and EHCP targets.
• Create a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience in an SEN setting or with children/young people with autism, SEMH or behavioural needs.
• Calm, resilient and empathetic approach.
• Team player with excellent communication skills.
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners.
• DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
