This is a hands-on role offering broad exposure across management reporting, statutory accounts and compliance, with excellent opportunity to develop within a growing finance team whilst acting as a Number two to the HoF.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentaryAssisting with the production of statutory accounts in line with accounting standards and deadlinesSupporting the year-end audit process, acting as a key point of contact for auditorsPreparation and submission of VAT returns, ensuring compliance with HMRC requirementsBalance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of accurate financial recordsSupporting budgeting and forecasting activitiesWorking closely with the Head of Finance and wider finance team to improve financial controls and processesAbout YouNewly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Proven experience preparing management accountsExposure to statutory accounts, audit support and VAT returnsStrong attention to detail and analytical skillsConfident communicator, able to work collaboratively within a team environmentWhat''s On OfferOpportunity to work closely with an experienced Head of FinanceBroad, varied ..... full job details .....
