Carmichael UK are seeking a Steel Structural Design Engineer to join a fast growing construction company on a permanent basis. You will be based in Manchester, but working across worldwide projects. 

As Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the projects, focusing on the design and analysis of steel structures. The candidate will be expected to build a design team in UK and lead the relevant design offices around MENA region.  

Requirements:

• British native.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on steel structural ; a Master's Degree is a plus.
• Graduated from a Russell Group of universities (Bath, Sheffield, Liverpool, Imperial, etc.)
• Proven at least 10 years of experience in steel structural design and analysis where being a chartered engineer is a bonus.
• Proficient in industry-standard software, including SAP2000, STAAD PRO, IDEASTATICA, RAM CONNECTION, HILTI, and TEKLA.
• Strong understanding of steel design codes and standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary depended on experience. Package to meet standard UK requirements.
