Job Description Due to increased demand and internal growth, we are seeking an additional Discipline Manager for our Civil and Structural Team. Whilst it will work across all projects within the sector, this is a key role to partner with one of our Nuclear projects. This role will act as the point of contact for engineering requirements for the sector and will have line management responsibility for our DandNE specific engineering resource. Responsibilities The Discipline Manager - Integration and Special projects, includes responsibility for Digital Engineering, Civil, Structural Engineers, Geotechnical Engineers, with a focus on power, energy, water and industrial. This team currently stands at 70 head count with secured demand to support consistent growth. The Discipline Manager will report to the Group Director of Engineering Services and is responsible for technical and line management of the discipline teams and the delivery of engineering design on projects through its people, processes and systems. This is a (hybrid) office based role, located at the Costain Engineering hub in Manchester with an expectation of office based working for two to three days per week.
