An established and highly respected Building Services Consultancy is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing North West team.

With a strong reputation across Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial and Public Sector projects, this consultancy has built long-term client relationships through technical excellence, practical design solutions and a genuinely collaborative approach to project delivery.

This opportunity would suit either an experienced Intermediate Electrical Engineer looking to take the next step into a Senior position or an established Senior Electrical Engineer seeking greater responsibility, project ownership and the opportunity to be client facing and work across all RIBA Stages.

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering electrical building services designs across a diverse portfolio of projects from feasibility and concept design through to construction and handover.

Responsibilities include:

• Electrical design for power distribution, lighting, small power, emergency systems and associated building services infrastructure

• Managing projects and acting as the lead electrical engineer

• Producing technical specifications, calculations, reports and design documentation

• Attending client and design team meetings

• Coordinating with mechanical engineers, architects and wider project stakeholders

• Mentoring junior and intermediate engineers

• Supporting project delivery while balancing quality, programme and commercial objectives

• Experience within a Building Services Consultancy environment

• Proven electrical design experience across building services projects

• Strong understanding of UK Building Regulations and relevant industry standards

• Experience managing projects and client relationships

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment

• Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar

• Membership of CIBSE, IET or working towards Chartership

• Experience within Healthcare, Education, Public Sector or Commercial projects

• Revit, AutoCAD or MagiCAD experience

• Hybrid and flexible working arrangements

• Clear progression pathway towards Principal and Associate level

• Exposure to technically challenging and varied projects
