We are recruiting an Internal Controls professional to join our global finance team based in Cambridge. This role will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing our SOX framework, ensuring strong financial controls across a complex, multinational pharmaceutical organisation. You will work closely with Finance, IT and business stakeholders to design, implement and test internal controls, supporting regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn and maintain the SOX control framework across multiple business unitsPerform risk assessments and design effective financial and IT controlsLead SOX testing activities, including documentation, walkthroughs and remediationPartner with process owners to strengthen controls and embed best practiceSupport external audit and regulatory reviewsIdentify opportunities to automate and improve control processesProvide training and guidance on internal controls and compliance requirementsSkills and ExperienceProven experience in SOX and internal controls within a regulated environmentBackground in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or other complex global organisations preferredStrong understanding of financial processes (RTR, P2P, O2C)Experience working with auditors and senior stakeholdersAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, international settingQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience preferredWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and bonusHybrid working modelPrivate medical ..... full job details .....
