Technical Sales Engineer Building ServicesJob Title: Technical Sales Engineer Building ServicesIndustry Sector: Building Services, HVAC, Grilles, Diffusers, VAV Systems, FCUs, AHUs, Acoustic Solutions, Natural Ventilation, Displacement Systems, Bespoke Solutions, Ventilation, Floor Grilles, Specialist Fabrication, Architectural, Louvres, MandE Consultants, Architects, MandE ContractorsArea to be covered: South West, West Midlands and WalesRemuneration: GBP50,000-GBP60,000 + Up to 50% BonusBenefits: Car allowance, hybrid car or EV + full benefits packageThe role of the Technical Sales Engineer Building Services will involve:Field sales role selling predominantly selling a manufactured and distributed range of grilles and diffusers, but also VAV systems, FCUs, AHUs, acoustic solutions, natural ventilation, displacement systems and bespoke solutionsFocus is on working with MandE consultants to design and specify HVAC solutions, either by combining standard products into a system or adapting them for specialist applicationsRemainder of time managing relationships with MandE contractorsTaking over responsibility for field sales activity from outgoing Managing DirectorTasked with maintaining turnover of circa GBP2-GBP3mTaking over some long established relationships with MandE consultants and contractorsCPD presentationsOrder values typically GBP20,000 but can range from GBP10,000-GBP250,000Potential for growth into a senior management position in the futureIdeal applicant

Preferably a Technical Sales Engineer or a Building Services Engineer who wants to move into a more commercial roleStrong technical background, especially in building services or HVACAny experience in field sales may be advantageousKnowledge of HVAC/ building services systemsSpecific knowledge of grilles, diffusers, VAV systems, FCUs, AHUs, acoustic solutions, natural ventilation, displacement systems and other bespoke solutions may be beneficialOpen to most HVAC/ building services industry experience such as; ventilation, diffusion, floor grilles, louvres, pipework, insulation etc.Experience winning specification projects via MandE consultants or architects as well as the MandE contractors may be usefulTenacious and driveTechnically capableAbility to work on own initiative and works well with othersSelf-motivated, good communicator and IT literateThe Company
