This role offers a great opportunity for someone with a solid understanding of litho press operations, or someone who wants to learn, to work in a fast-paced, quality-focused print environment, supporting the smooth and efficient running of multi-colour printing presses.Key Responsibilities:Support the Printer with press make-ready, wash-up and general operation dutiesContinuously load board into the press feeder and ensure the delivery area is kept clearOperate the Feeder Non-Stop Pile changing system and adjust feeder mechanisms for optimal performanceFollow make-ready protocols to ensure all materials and plates are prepared for upcoming jobsAssist with routine press maintenance in line with manufacturer guidelinesMonitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning consumables and associated press materialsEnsure all procedures and SOPs are followed in line with company and industry standardsReturn unused materials and correctly dispose of waste at job completionAdhere to company Quality Assurance standardsPromote and follow good housekeeping, environmental, and health and safety practices at all timesPerform additional duties suited to skills and training as directed by the Line Manager.Skills and Qualifications:Strong attention to detail and ability to follow job instructions accuratelyUnderstanding of safe equipment operation proceduresTeam-oriented, ..... full job details .....
