At Lewisham Council , we''re building more than structures-we''re building trust. And we need a confident, qualified professional who can lead the charge in inspecting Class 3 buildings (accommodation, hotels, boarding houses, etc.) with precision and professionalism.

What You''ll Be Doing:

• Carry out inspections on Class 3 buildings to ensure full compliance with the NCC, building codes, and regulatory requirements

• Identify and report on non-compliance, defects, and safety risks-offering practical, solution-focused advice

• Work closely with builders, developers, architects, and other stakeholders to guide projects through every phase

• Deliver high-quality reports that communicate findings clearly and accurately

• Stay informed on legislation and standards relevant to Class 3 buildings

What We''re Looking For:

• Current Class 3A Building Inspector Registration

• Strong understanding of NCC/BCA and Class 3-specific compliance challenges

• Excellent judgment and attention to detail-you don''t miss a thing

• Solid communication skills to liaise with clients and teams with confidence

• A proactive, professional mindset-you own your inspections from start to finish
