Technical Sales Engineer Skelmersdale 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday 40k- 50k DOE Rapid Recruit are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer on behalf of our client in Skelmersdale. Our client is expanding their reach into the aerospace, nuclear and defence industries and due to growth plans, are looking to expand their sales team. Key Responsibilities: Frequently travel with occasional overnight stays to visit and engage with various clients. Conduct business development meetings to promote products. Independently manage scheduling and appointments, including coordinating client visits on site. Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Provide technical expertise and support to clients throughout the sales process. Identify client needs and propose tailored solutions to meet their requirements. Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless project execution. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to provide innovative solutions. Essential Requirements: Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. 7 years of proven experience in technical sales, preferably in manufacturing or engineering. Strong technical skills with a background in machining. Experience in aerospace, defence, nuclear, or similar industries. Desirable experience: Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
