Credit Controller - £Competive Rate Your new company A luxury hotel group based in the heart of Mayfair, renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences. We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Credit Controller to join our finance team on a 6-month fixed-term basis to cover a period of sick leave. Your new role As a Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal departments. Manage the hotel''s debtor ledger and ensure timely collection of outstanding balances.Contact clients regarding overdue invoices via phone and email.Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer queries.Reconcile customer accounts and allocate incoming payments.Prepare weekly aged debt reports and escalate issues as needed.Liaise with the reservations, events, and front office teams to ensure accurate billing.Assess credit risk and recommend credit limits for new clients.Support the finance team with month-end processes and reporting.What you''ll need to succeed Previous experience in a credit control or accounts receivable role.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, Opera, or similar PMS).High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.Hospitality industry experience is a plus.What you''ll get in return ..... full job details .....
