Then join our committed community outreach team in Barrow.As a support worker you can support adults with mental health needs and learning disabilities to live their best lives. The successful candidate will engage with service users and build trusting, therapeutic relationships.Responsibilities
Visit service users in their own homes or in other settings and offer practical support to enable them to live independently while also offering emotional support in accordance with their individual support plans.Help with daily living tasks such as cooking, appointments, medication and money management.Engage with service users to build trusting, therapeutic relationships.Requirements / Qualifications
Availability for full time (37.5 hours) or part time (22.5 hours) per week on a flexible rota; ability to lone work and use your own initiative is essential.Being a car driver and car owner (or access to a vehicle) is essential; mileage allowance is paid.Full training is provided; opportunity to work towards QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care.Benefits
