Hourly Rate: From £17.00Location: St AlbansJob Type: Full-timeWe are seeking a dedicated School Chef to join our team in St Albans. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for creating nutritious and delicious meals for students. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role and must hold a Food Safety Certificate Level 2.Day-to-day of the role:

Plan, prepare, and cook meals that are both nutritious and appealing to students.Ensure that all meals are prepared in a safe, hygienic, and timely manner.Manage kitchen inventory and order supplies as needed.Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen at all times.Adhere to food safety regulations and school policies.Collaborate with school staff to cater for special diets and events.Monitor kitchen equipment and ensure it is kept in good working condition.Required Skills and Qualifications:

Minimum of 2 years'' experience as a chef, preferably in an educational setting.Valid Food Safety Certificate Level 2.Strong knowledge of nutrition and allergen awareness.Excellent organisational and time management skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Passion for cooking and creating enjoyable meal experiences.Benefits:
