Role: HGV Technician / HGV MechanicLocation: Witham, CM8 3THHours: 45 hours per week between 07:15 and 16:45 Monday to Friday Are you a skilled and dedicated HGV Technician looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference?As an HGV Technician, you''ll maintain and repair refuse collection vehicles, ensuring high-quality work and excellent customer service.Your responsibilities will include: Vehicle Repair: Diagnose faults on chassis and mounted equipment, conduct repairs and servicing to VOSA standards, and prepare vehicles for MOT inspections.Compliance: Ensure repairs comply with Department of Transport specifications and company standards.Job Management: Work at customer and Company premises, liaise professionally with customers, and maintain good housekeeping practices.Quality and Customer Satisfaction: Comply with ISO9001 procedures, maintain high-quality work, and provide excellent service to customers.Health and Safety: Adhere to health and safety procedures, conduct risk assessments, and use appropriate PPE. What We''re Looking For: Essential: Knowledge of commercial vehicle repair and servicing, understanding of vehicle technology systems, compliance and health and safety requirements, previous experience in a similar role, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Service and Maintenance, proven diagnostic and fault-finding skills, understanding of electronics and hydraulics, ability to read wiring diagrams, computer literacy, and customer service ..... full job details .....
