Overview:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a CAT A commercial office fit out project in London.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring the project is delivered safely, on programme, and to a high standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site operations on a CAT A commercial fit out project

• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors and site labour

• Ensure works are delivered on programme and to specification

• Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance

• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings

• Liaise with project managers, consultants, and client representatives

• Monitor progress and report updates to the Project Manager

• Manage site logistics, deliveries, and materials

• Ensure RAMS, permits to work, and site documentation are in place

• Oversee snagging, QA checks, and project handover

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Site Manager within commercial fit out

• Strong background delivering CAT A office fit out projects

• Valid SMSTS

• CSCS Black Card

• First Aid at Work

• Strong organisational and communication skills

• Ability to drive programme and manage multiple trades

Desirable

• Experience delivering projects within Central London

• Previous work on fast-track commercial office projects
