Overview Joya Italian Steakhouse is seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of food preparation and production, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and hospitality. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing kitchen operations, managing staff, and ensuring that our menu reflects both creativity and excellence.Experience of Italian cuisine and knowing how to cook a great steak is essential.The pay is a basic rate of £15.00 per hour plus a share of the service charge each week ranging from £2-£5 per hour in addition to the basic hourly rate. Responsibilities Supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Lead, mentor, and train kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Oversee food preparation and production processes to maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Manage inventory, ordering supplies, and controlling food costs to maximise profitability. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with hygiene standards. Requirements Proven experience as a Head Chef.
