An established manufacturing company based in Birmingham requires a CNC tooling assembler / quality technician.

Duties:

• Managing building, pre-setting, assembly and disassembly of CNC spindle, fixed and driven tool assemblies.
• Storage, booking in and out, and documentation of CNC spindle tool holders and cutter tooling to facilitate an efficient inventory control system.
• Requisition of replacement ad-hoc special cutter tooling.
• Organisation of internal and external calibration of equipment to industry standards, including recording, documentation and certification.

Requirements:

• Proven experience of CNC tooling assembly, quality and management.
• Good IT skills.

Hours:

• 7am to 3pm Monday to Thursday and 7am to 12pm Friday.

This is a permanent position that starts immediately.
