Job Summary: We are looking for an inspiring, qualified practitioner to join our experienced team at Hugo and Holly Day Nursery.

In both settings we have an extremely experienced team of staff members, many of whom have worked for the company since it first started. Our daily practice and environment is influenced by Reggio Emilio, Montessori and the curiosity approach. We believe open ended play, creating enabling environments and exciting invitations to play contribute to children developing an autonomy in their learning. This gives them the opportunity to learn, to regulate their emotions and explore the boundaries of their interests in a safe and nurturing environment. We have a history of outstanding Ofsted inspections across both of our settings.

Applicant must

Be committed to delivering the best outcomes for every child

Enjoy working as part of a team

Be reliable and able to take initiative

Have a sound knowledge of early years development

Be driven to plan and deliver thoughtful activities/provision

Have a level 3 qualification in childcare

Want to inspire our children and ensure we give them the tools to be competent, independent and emotionally intelligent little people

Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and children

Manage daily routines and maintain a clean and safe nursery environment

Safeguarding

SafeguardingHugo and Holly Day Nursery ensures statutory requirements concerning Disclosure and Barring Service checks are met, maintains an up to date Safeguarding Policy, has clear guidelines for procedures, and provides safeguarding training to all staff and volunteers.
