Design & Technology Teacher - Innovative Secondary School in Essex
Start Date: September 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter)

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a passionate and skilled Design & Technology Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school in Essex. This is a key role within a creative and supportive department that values innovation, hands-on learning, and cross-curricular collaboration.

The Role:

• Teach engaging and inspiring DT lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4

• Contribute to curriculum development and promote high standards of achievement

• Opportunities to progress into Key Stage 5 teaching for the right candidate

• Deliver lessons that promote creativity, problem-solving, and technical skill

• Contribute to wider school life, including extracurricular activities and STEM initiatives

What We''re Looking For:

• A qualified teacher with QTS (or equivalent) and a strong background in Design & Technology

• Specialisms across Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, Graphics, or Food Technology are all welcomed

• A background or interest in Art is advantageous

• Passionate about fostering creativity, innovation, and real-world application in learning

• Strong communication and classroom management skills

• A collaborative team player keen to contribute to a dynamic department
