As Solutions Design Manager, you''ll be at the forefront of transforming warehouse operations, shaping efficient, scalable solutions that support continued expansion. This role offers real influence, visibility, and the chance to make a tangible impact.

Job Title: Solutions Design Manager
Locations: South Midlands (Hybrid)
Salary : -50-70,000

Duties:

• Establish the requirements, scope, and resources needed to support bid creation, including developing detailed specifications.
• Partner with clients to gain a clear understanding of their operational challenges and design bespoke solutions tailored to their needs.
• Evaluate end-to-end operational workflows to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and cost performance.
• Collaborate with selected suppliers and third-party partners to build robust and competitive tender submissions.
• Interpret customer requirements and supporting data to shape solution proposals, including factors such as site constraints, infrastructure, and service expectations.
• Develop and present technically sound solutions, outlining material, labour, and financial requirements.
• Ensure effective integration of systems and technologies to enhance automation, improve accuracy, and enable better real-time visibility and reporting.
• Contribute to the development of commercial proposals, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and pricing strategies.
• Conduct reviews and audits of current operations to support contract extensions or renewals.
• Assess existing processes to uncover opportunities for optimisation, aiming to drive efficiencies and reduce operational costs.
• Champion continuous improvement, applying engineering expertise to solve complex operational challenges.
• Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and project delivery teams to ensure that proposed solutions are both commercially viable and operationally practical.

Key Experiences:

• Solutions design experience (logistics / supply chain / warehouse)
• Strong stakeholder management
• Warehouse layout / site design background
• Tender/bid - Commercial Support.
• Experience design tools (AutoCAD, SketchUp)
