As a Business Systems Software Developer, you will utilise both your backend and frontend knowledge to develop high quality, scalable and innovative cloud-based applications. This is a Full Stack developer role with a technical path for hands-on contributors.This role is eligible for inclusion in the Company’s hybrid working from home policy.Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain robust business systems and applicationsWrite high-quality code that meets business requirements, supporting and upgrading existing applicationsEnsure comprehensive documentation is maintainedDevelop efficient, robust, and scalable code for new and existing applications and servicesDesign, test, and implement new solutions in line with departmental standardsMaintain and improve existing systems, ensuring high availability and low latencyCreate and update technical documentation for application coding and project developmentCommunicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical colleaguesCollaborate effectively within the team and with senior managementAnalyse requirements, investigate live system issues, and contribute to solutionsPerform quality assurance reviews, support product owners and testing teamsManage multiple projects and tasks, meeting deadlines and proactively updating managementShare knowledge and best practices and continuously develop technical knowledge and skillsQualifications

Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar technical roleProficient in .Net, React, SQL, and PythonStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret requirements, investigate issues, and deliver effective solutionsDemonstrated experience developing scalable, high-quality applicationsCommitment to clean coding practices, continuous improvement, and quality assuranceExcellent communication skills, able to present information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiencesCollaborative team player with a positive, flexible attitude and willingness to learnStrong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines while remaining focused and professional under pressureAwareness of current trends, ethical considerations, and the benefits and challenges of AI and automation in software engineeringExperience developing with Python and integrating AI tools or techniques into software development would be desirableDetails
