Make a Real Difference Supporting a Year 4 Student with SEND

Aspire People are looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 student in a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Knowsley. This is a fantastic opportunity to support a child with ASD, ADHD, and additional SEND needs, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

You''ll play a key role in boosting confidence, encouraging independence, and ensuring the student can access learning in a structured and supportive environment.


What You''ll Do

Provide 1:1 support tailored to the child''s individual needs, keeping them engaged and motivated.
Assist with lessons and classroom activities, adapting approaches to support learning.
Build confidence, social skills, and promote positive behaviour.
Help maintain a well-organised, calm, and ready-to-learn classroom environment.
Work closely with the teaching team to ensure a consistent and supportive approach.


Who We''re Looking For

Experience working with children, ideally in a primary school or SEND setting (1:1 experience is a bonus).
Patient, compassionate, and approachable, with a passion for helping children develop.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Reliable, proactive, and fully committed to safeguarding children.
Must hold an Enhanced DBS or be willing to apply for one.
