Receiving a competitive hourly rate and additional benefits.We''re looking for experienced Production Operatives to work at Caterpillar''s world class manufacturing plant in the Springvale Business Park, Belfast.Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:Assembling axles and transmissions.Working from standard work instructions to produce components.Performing routine functionality tests and analysing malfunctions and making repairs.Assist in the calibration and repair of measuring equipment and input data into pre-developed databases for record collection analysis and reporting.Compliance with safety and quality standards.Compliance with 5S programme and other business improvement initiatives.Any other appropriate duties.Required Qualifications: Previous experience in a similar environment.The ability to follow and comprehend verbal, specific and detailed procedures and work instructions.The ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations in order to perform the duties of the position.The ability to use hand tools, power tools, checking or testing equipment and to be able to read and interpret drawings - preferred.Working at heights may be necessary.Reasonable level of computer literacy where required.Hours of work:37.5 hours per week.
