SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: Selly Oak, Birmingham, B29Weekly Pay: 460 - 500Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 3:30 pm (term time only)Start Date: ASAPContract: Long-term, Temp-to-Perm Long Term Futures is seeking an adaptable SEN Teaching Assistants to join a warm, inclusive, two-form-entry primary school, rated Good by Ofsted, in Selly Oak. The role is long-term with the potential to become permanent for the right candidates. The Role Supporting children across Year 3 and Year 4 with a range of SEN needs.Provide small-group and 1:1 support for children with ASD,SEMH, communication needs and learning difficultiesSupport interventions focused on reading comprehension, writing, numeracy and social skillsHelp pupils stay engaged, regulated and confident in classWork collaboratively with teachers to adapt tasks and provide accessible learningWhat the School is Looking For?Experience supporting children with SEN, particularly ASD, communication needs, sensory needs and/or SEMHAbility to work across KS2 and support learning in Year 3 and 4Understanding of strategies for supporting communication, regulation and engagementA patient, nurturing approach with strong relationship-building skillsLevel 2 or 3 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)Minimum of 1 year''s experience in a Primary School settingAbout the SchoolLocated in Selly Oak, B29Warm, inclusive two-form-entry primary schoolOfsted rated GoodSupportive SENCO and leadership teamStrong ethos of early ..... full job details .....
