Senior Electronics Engineer

Job Role: Senior Electronics Engineer Location: Wembley or Dorset Hybrid 2-3 days a week onsite Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Role Overview: We are seeking an Electronics Engineer with hands-on experience in analogue or digital design. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and optimising electronic systems for defence maritime applications, from initial design through to integration and in-service support. Key Responsibilities: Develop both analogue and digital electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, and firmware integration. Perform system-level testing and troubleshooting of electronics, ensuring reliability and performance standards are met. Work closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, systems engineering) to integrate electronic solutions into broader systems. Produce technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and reports. Experience: Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Electronics design, with experience in analogue, digital or mixed signal Experience with circuit design and PCB layout Familiarity with CAD tools CADSTAR experience is preferable but not essential Good problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset Openness to learn and adapt we re flexible on experience level Benefits Flexible work arrangements Early Friday finishes, time-off-in-lieu, and annual bonuses.
