Senior Events Officer
I am excited to be recruiting on behalf of an international membership organisation for an experienced events professional to support the delivery of a major international conference taking place in France in April. This is a full-time London based hybrid role, 2 days a week in office. This is a fast paced, hands on contract role requiring immediate availability and full commitment through to the end of April, including travel to France from 11/12 April to 17 April.The RoleWorking closely with the Head of Events, you will support the planning and delivery of a large scale international conference and associated governance and networking events.Key responsibilities include:Coordinating the conference programmeManaging abstract and registration systemsLiaising with keynote speakers, chairs and presentersActing as main contact for event enquiries and visa lettersUpdating website content and supporting accreditation processesManaging suppliers, logistics and travel arrangementsProviding full onsite support, including VIP and volunteer coordination About YouYou will demonstrate:Proven experience delivering large conferences, ideally internationallyStrong experience with abstract and registration systemsExperience within the voluntary or membership sectorExcellent organisational skills and attention to detailConfidence managing multiple stakeholders and tight deadlinesStrong communication skills and high level IT proficiencyDesirable: conference app development, budget management, ..... full job details .....
