Why join us?Our Catastrophic Loss team at DWF is currently hiring a Solicitor or Senior Paralegal to join our team in Southampton on a hybrid basis. We are also open to considering candidates from all locations for remote work.The team at DWF is one of the largest in the UK and is nationally recognized. We work with many well-known insurers on complex, catastrophic, and large loss claims, handling high-value files ranging from £150k to £20m, including Road Traffic Accidents (RTAs) and Employers Liability (EL)/Public Liability (PL) matters.Responsibilities

Assist senior team members (Senior Associates and Directors) in progressing cases through litigation, including disclosure, witness and expert evidence, and trial/JSM preparation.Handle technical aspects of cases under supervision.Be a trusted team member by managing tasks such as updating files, reviewing confidential records, and liaising with third parties.Keep the case management system updated.What will help you succeed in this role?

EssentialNQ or 1+ year PQEInterest and experience in Employers Liability, Public Liability, RTA, and catastrophic injury workExperience managing high-value defendant personal injury files, either independently or as an assistantExperience working in a commercial environmentWhat we offer
