Thorn Baker Industrial Recruitment are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a successful engineering company based in Leicester.This is a temp to perm assignmentThe Job:You will be part of the Quality department overseeing their productionHours are: Mon-Thurs 6am-2.30pm and Friday 6am-11.30am - 37.5 hours per weekSalary: £13.80phRole Responsibilities: In process (First off / patrol) inspection of machined and fabricated partsInspection of components using both mechanical/manual and CMM devices: Micrometres, verniers, gauges and callipersCalibration skills for various hand inspection tools vernier, micrometerRead customer specifications and understands the importance of accurate measurementsControl of inspection equipments and GaugesGoods inwards inspectionVisual inspection requirements with attention to detailKeeping work environment clean and tidy and practising good housekeeping The Person: Previous quality inspection experience in an engineering or manufacturing companyExperience working to ISO9001:2015Able to read engineering drawings and symbolsExperience using a Height Gauges desirableMust be willing to work on any shift pattern in line with business needsWork well in small team, reporting to Inspection Team LeaderIf you have CMM or Weld experience, this would be an advantage LEC01 ..... full job details .....
