We re seeking a passionate and detail-driven professional to take ownership of tooling and component design, forging process development, and cross-functional collaboration to drive product excellence in a highly regulated, precision-driven environment. Key Responsibilities Lead the design of forged components and tooling, particularly aerofoil blades. Develop and refine metal forging processes, focusing on material flow, die design, and grain structure optimisation. Use NX CAD software to design both components and tooling; apply FEA simulations to validate performance. Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and customer requirements. Partner with Manufacturing, Production, and Quality teams to improve tooling life and reduce defects. Drive continuous improvement in design efficiency, material usage, and forging accuracy. Produce detailed engineering drawings, technical documentation, and support implementation of design changes.
