Paralegal
JRRL are seeking a Paralegal to join a respected law firm within their Private Client department. This role would suit someone with previous Private Client legal experience as a secretary or legal administrator.Key Responsibilities for the Paralegal role: Provide support to fee earners with a broad range of Private Client matters including wills, probate, estate administration, trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and Court of Protection workWork alongside fee earners to manage deadlines and prioritise effectivelyConduct legal research and assist in preparing cases to ensure smooth progressDraft legal documents, letters, and case correspondence under supervisionCommunicate with clients, gathering key information, offering updates, and handling general queriesMaintain and organise case files, ensuring all records and documentation remain accurate and currentDeliver administrative support such as diary management and liaising with third parties including banks, the Probate Registry, and other professionals Person specification for the Paralegal role: Previous experience within Private Client work is preferred but not essentialLaw degree, legal studies, or equivalent paralegal experience will be consideredStrong written and verbal communication skills with a professional, client-focused approachExcellent attention to detail and accuracyA discreet and empathetic manner, with an understanding of client confidentiality and diversity principlesBackground working in a law firm is ..... full job details .....
