A client of ours in the Enfield area are recruiting a Trade Compliance Officer to join their team. This is a full-time permanent position working 37.5 hour week Monday - Friday and paying a negotiable salary depending on experience.Key Duties include but are not limited to:Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations, including Data Protection and Anti-Bribery requirements.Promote adherence to corporate ethics, policies, and procedures across the business.Act as the subject matter expert and provide guidance to employees on compliance matters.Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise the business on their impact.Review compliance-related contractual matters in the UK and internationally.Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, processes, and preventive controls.Conduct third-party due diligence, risk assessments, and support compliance throughout contract lifecycles.Manage data protection obligations, including DPIAs, records of processing, privacy advice, and subject access requests.Deliver compliance support, reporting, investigations, and audits as required.Assist with training, stakeholder engagement, and fostering a strong culture of compliance.Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Trade Compliance Officer position:Acts with the highest level of integrity.Previous experience within a similar compliance role essential.Experience within the defence and military industry or similar international environment.Strong ..... full job details .....
