Ridge and Partners LLPAs the demand for our expertise continues to grow, we now have an opportunity for an experienced Architect to join our team in Oxford. You will be supporting high profile projects across all a range of sectors at our idyllic headquarters offices in the grounds of Blenheim Palace - Oxford.

We are an AJ100 architecture practice and a significant part of a multi-disciplinary design practice. Our design portfolio is world class, and we are currently working on several exciting new projects including advanced manufacturing, Science, Healthcare, Education, Defence and Workplace projects which results in a diverse, growing, and exciting practice. We work across the UK and internationally, where we both design and deliver a range of projects in terms of scale and sector.

We are known for our collaborative and consultative approach, integrated multi-disciplinary design philosophy and technical excellence. We pride ourselves in applying these skills when designing and delivering environments to enhance human activities and experiences.

What you need to do to be effective in this role

Design and technical leadership qualitiesStrong design and technical detailing skills - Revit experience would be beneficialAbility to express ideas effectively, orally, graphically and in writingExperience in preparing technical drawings packages and specificationsProviding a practical and methodical approach to solving problems, working to fixed budgets and working within deadlinesManaging planning applications, Building RegulationsInspection of building work on siteKnowledge of UK best practice standardsDevelop customer relationships to find additional opportunities to address their challengesAssist in business development
