The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities-ensuring they are fully included, engaged, and able to make strong progress both academically and socially.Your new roleProvide 1:1 and small-group support for students with SEND, including those with ASD, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and learning difficulties.Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering differentiated learning activities.Help create supportive, structured learning environments that promote independence and confidence.Implement personalised strategies and interventions based on EHCP targets.Work effectively with the SENCO, teaching staff, and external professionals to ensure students receive consistent, high-quality support.Contribute to progress monitoring and provide feedback on student development.What you''ll need to succeedExperience supporting young people with SEND in a secondary school or similar setting.Strong understanding of safeguarding and behaviour-support strategies.A patient, empathetic, and resilient approach when working with students.Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships.Relevant training (e.g., Team Teach, Autism Awareness, SEMH) is desirable.What you''ll get in ..... full job details .....
