We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our end to end finance applications.This role is an opportunity to be part of the ongoing success of Finance and the team’s ability to successfully implement new systems and control frameworks for the Group.Working in Octopus’ Finance Systems and Governance team, you will be responsible for documenting end to end Finance processes, identifying best practices, controls and procedures. You will be central to the development of a Group wide Risk and Control Matrix and ensuring that Octopus’ Finance has audit reliance.You will also be responsible for working with stakeholders across all our Octopus’ entities to capture requirements for Finance applications; this includes but is not limited to NetSuite.You\''ll be part of a business-critical transformation, with the chance to contribute to the delivery of a modern ERP platform and Finance Control Framework. Be responsible for interviewing Finance Stakeholders to capture and document as is business processesUsing your knowledge of Financial processes and controls, identify risks and devise appropriate risk management and controls and to-be processes which will also inform our finance transformationReport on new requirements, gaps in Finance systems, controls and processesEnsure Finance is following best practices and processes are designed to be re-used where possibleIdentify problems within the business relating, through data modelling techniques and process flows.Have the ability to streamline processes.Communicate with senior people within the organisation.Part of this assignment will be to run workshops and training sessions in order to ensure that everyone is on board and understands the processes involvedWork closely with the business to address findings raised by the audit committeeDevelop and manage a risk control matrixAlign internal and external stakeholders of the benefits of new technology or strategies/requirements/processes.Control business analysis activities as required during the project lifecycle from project initiation through to closureSupport the UAT (e.g. test case creation and execution) and provide knowledge and expertise to support defect resolution.Support (and undertake where necessary) business change activities e.g. training.Conduct peer reviews and workshops for requirements definitions, As-Is and To-Be models to ensure quality, completeness and unambiguityDevelop user documentationWhat you\''ll need

Proven experience working as a Business Analyst, with 6+ years of experience with finance solutionsDemonstrable experience of Finance Controls, Processes and ProceduresExperience working within a Project teamAbility to operate confidently in a multi-country, culturally diverse environmentComfortable working in a hands-on capacity across project management and business analysisAbility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing prioritiesStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsIf this sounds like you then we\''d love to hear from you.Are you ready for a career with us?
