The RoleWe are looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a General Manager. Your focus will be to lead and inspire a team to deliver excellent person-centred quality care to residents in a safe, caring and stimulating environment, while meeting regulatory requirements, professional and statutory standards, and business performance targets.

Responsibilities

Ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, person-centred care based on best practice.

Recruitment, retention, and development of staff within the Home.

Acting as a focal point for residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals involved in residents’ wellbeing.

Ensuring safe staffing levels are reviewed and maintained in line with occupancy and dependency.

Providing ongoing inspirational leadership and management to the staff team.

Managing costs within budgetary controls, reviewing regularly and monitoring stock.

Qualifications

Minimum of four years of experience in a similar care environment.

Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent.

Excellent leadership and management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills; competent in IT.

Adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
