Care Team Leader - Andover

Overview
Care Team Leader position in Andover, SP11 6JS. You will work with residents and the staff team to ensure residents receive a high standard of care and that services uphold person-centred care principles. You will lead and support a dedicated team of caring professionals, under the guidance of the Home Manager, with opportunities for greater responsibility and autonomy.Shifts and Employment Details
Shifts are available between 7.00am and 9.30pm, five days per week. Morning shift: 7.00am – 2.30pm. Afternoon shift: 2.00pm – 9.30pm, with alternate weekends. There is also an opportunity for Night Team Leaders: 8.00pm – 8.00am or 9.00pm – 7.00am, 3 days per week across Monday – Sunday (36 hours per week). An excellent communicator with knowledge of the Care Quality Commission Fundamental Standards for care homes.You will deliver care and support to people with complex needs, promoting dignity, respect, and self-directed care.You will hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health and Social Care and be willing to work towards Level 3; demonstrate post-qualification learning and development.Experience leading a team and understanding of administering medication.Excellent understanding of Personalised Care Plans; knowledge of choice, self-advocacy, and empowerment of individual residents.Very good literacy and numeracy skills; compassionate and patient.Willingness to pass a DBS check or be on the update service.Experience in a care environment and knowledge of disabilities, physical access, and adaptations are advantageous; commitment to equal opportunities.What we offer
