Our client based in Brigg, Lincolnshire is a well-established business that provides packaging solutions into the healthcare sector. They currently have an exciting opportunity for an Extrusion Operator to join their team as soon as possible!This is a permanent opportunity, working 4 on 4 off shift pattern of 2 days, followed by 2 nights (06:00-18:00 / 18:00-06:00), with average weekly contractual hours of 42 per week. We are looking for someone who has previously worked as an Extrusion Operator, ideally with a packaging company or someone who has a background operating machinery within a manufacturing environment. The basic annual salary for the role is 29,484, with the opportunity for overtime at enhanced rates. The company also offers a quarterly Gainshare scheme, up to 5%.The purpose of the role is to operate and maximise production of Extrusion Department machines which meet customer specifications in a safe and efficient manner.Duties of the role will include:- Deliver film to production areas and return all film to stock when required Select materials and operating supplies in accordance with job specification Carry out job set up in a safe and efficient manner, following warm up and set up procedures Carry out process inspection checks to ensure product meets specifications, informing results to Team Leaders Monitor machine controls hourly to ensure product quality and safe operation Unload and record product, palletise product in accordance with internal ..... full job details .....
